Yesterday, The Contractor Coaching Partnership completed our 6th sold out EPA RRP training. This one was hosted and sponsored by Carby's Lumber of Framingham, Mass. The owner Rick Ricciardi, was present early in the morning to greet his contractor clients. It was a pleasure to see how well he was appreciated by the contractors who learned about this training from Carby's Lumber.
Rick spoke before the training and you could immediately see why his contractor clients respect him so much. He is soft spoken and filled with genuine concern for the welfare of his contractor clients. As he concluded, his customers applauded him for bringing this important EPA RRP training to their attention and helping them stay ahead of the curve. Carby's may not be the largest lumber yard in the Massachusetts, but you can see how Rick's special way of servicing his contractor clients breeds loyalty. I am fortunate to know them.

On Friday 2/26/2010 The Contractor Coaching Partnership facilitated the 6th straight sold out EPA RRP training. We have selected Kachina Lead Paint Solutions to provide training for our clients and associates. To date all of our trainings have sold out in less than 4 weeks.
Our contractor attendees have commented that our instructors are excellent at explaining such a boring subject. Our instructors have extensive background in remodeling and property renovations. One contractor commented the Kachina instructors understand their world because they are contractors. Not lab coat technicians or boring professors teaching about safety. Another contractor said his boss went to a training firm and it was like watching paint dry, they had no lunch and they barely had enough coffee. His boss sent 6 of his lead carpenters to our training with Kachina.
Our trainings are carefully set up with the contractor in mind. Continental breakfast is served with plenty of coffee. A buffet style lunch with freshly cut turkey, ham and roast beef, salads and home made chocolate chip cookies and other desserts. (contractors get hungry sitting for 8 hours)
Our selection of Kachini Lead Paint Solutions has resulted in numerous referrals from attendees. John Zilka, lead trainer for Kachini, has a great knack for hiring trainers that relate to the contractor. He also has extensive contacts throughout the EPA and assisted with the development of the training manual.
The Contractor Coaching Partnership has added several training dates throughout the spring to the summer. We will be holding 45 plus trainings through June. we currently have 10 for the month of March with 6 already sold out!
The clock is ticking, the effective date is only 7 weeks away. To receive the best training from trainers who know your world check out our training dates today.
Who is required to receive this training; all contractors who want to work on pre-1978 homes after 4/22/2010. This includes remodelers, carpenters, window, siding, roofing, gutter and painting contractors. Also subs like plumbers, electricians, plasterers, hvac, insulation, floor and tile, IT, alarm and cable technicians. Once we get contractors trained then we can start on property owners.

Yesterday, The Contractor Coaching Partnership completed the 4th EPA RRP Certified Renovator training in Taunton, Mass. Our trainings on the 12th and 13th were hosted by National Lumber. Steve Linsky from National Lumber commented on the quality of the trainers from Kachina Lead Paint Solutions. These trainers have extensive remodeling experience that allows them to relate to the contractor attendee.
At the end of each day, contractors had questions about the challenges they face implementing these new rules into their business. Many contractors were concerned as to how they will navigate the transition to full compliance of the documentation and lead safe practices taught in the course.
For this reason The Contractor Coaching Partnership has teamed up with Industry Expert Shawn McCadden. We have developed a one day seminar for business owners called "Getting your Business and Employees Ready for the New EPA RRP Rules." This program will be taught by Shawn and is geared to help contractors implement this new rule into their business.
Quite often contractors invest in education yet fail to benefit from it due to procrastination. Education without implementation produces sub-par results. To get the most out of any training and protect the investment, it is important to quickly take action and begin the implementation process.
This has never been so critical as now. The cost of failing to follow the EPA RRP Lead Rule can result in fines of $37,500. A price that would cause the failure for the majority of residential construction firms. Seminar link below.

I Recently received my Certified Renovator mugshot from Kachina Contractor Solutions. They take your picture for the EPA RRP Certified Renovator program that is placed on file with the Agency.
At the beginning of our EPA RRP training everyone has to sign in individually and then take their picture. This is so the trainer can match up your photo with your test. It is interesting to hear the comments from the various contractors in line so early in the morning for the guys and gals taking their picture.
Hope my picture doesn't scare anybody!
