Mass Consumer Affairs Survey For Residential Contractors

Recently Eastern Mass NARI was asked to assist the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations to help educate Mass contractors about the Home Improvement Law. NARI is an organization of contractors and suppliers in the residential construction industry committed to contractor and homeowner education. OCABR is looking to level the playing field by educating contractors to be compliant with the Mass Home Improvement Law as well as educate consumers on the importance of hiring legal contractors.

As Chairman of Government Affairs for EMNARI I will be sharing information with our members and contractor community on behalf of OCABR. Our mutual goal is to help educate contractors and homeowners about the Mass Home Improvement Registration Law.

Home Improvement Contractor Law                  Consumar Affairs & Business Regulation - Better businesses Smarter consumers.

A few weeks ago EMNARI member Jim Lavalle, Executive Director Ann Dube and myself met with Undersecretary Barbara Anthony and her staff. They asked us if we could send out a brief survey to contractors to guage contractors understanding of the Mass Home Improvement Law. We agreed to help them by sending it out to our members and other contractors throughout the state.

I am supplying the link to this anonymous survey below. Please help us and complete the survey and if you can send it along to other contractors. Information statistics will be shared at an open public meeting in the coming months.
