OSHA Fall Protection Training for Boston, Mass Area Residential Contractors

Fall Hazards in Residential Construction: Boston Mass Area

Falls are the leading cause of deaths in construction. No contractor plans on going to work where either he/she or one of their workers will be killed from a fall. However when you hear the news, some construction workers never go home because they are killed from a fall at work. (Cape Cod Roofer Killed in Fall From Roof).
OSHA requires that all residential contractors must protect their workers while working at heights of 6 feet or more above lower level. OSHA in New England (Region 1) is aggressively providing educational outreach and enforcement focusing on fall hazards especially in the residential construction sector.
