This course is for employees, carpenters, laborers, foremen and supervisors with safety and health responsibilities for their employees' safety and health awareness. Students will be introduced to OSHA policies, procedures and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA Act Part 1926. Special emphasis will be placed on areas most hazardous using OSHA standards as a guide.
This training program is intended to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how
to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may
encounter at a construction site.
