What you will accomplish?

In 4 half day workshops you will learn the standards that you are required to have in your safety manual. We will develop with your participation a customized manual for your company.

How long will it take?

The program is delivered just over 60 days. In each half-day workshop you will be taught 3-4 OSHA standards. At the conclusion of the program your customized safety manual will be finalized. We will complete your  approved manual within a few weeks of the last workshop.

What you need to know...The OSHA General Duty Clause

“Each employer shall furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which is free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his     employees.”

To accomplish this employers must have a safety program in place and they must effectively train their workers on it. GC’s are also responsible that their subcontractors follow OSHA Standards………..

If you don’t have the time to write a “Safety and Health Program” from scratch, or if you don’t have the expertise in house for someone to write one for you, then we can help you develop an OSHA compliant safety manual in this workshop. Call Mark TODAY at 508-847-0162.

What is OSHA up to?

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) is focusing their attention on the residential construction industry. Recent job site related injuries and deaths in the residential sector have lead OSHA to designate the sector as a targeted industry. Most residential contractors have little or no experience with OSHA however they are still required to follow OSHA standards and safety requirements.

OSHA requires that all contractors have documented safety policies and procedures in place to protect workers. Manuals need to be customized to reflect the true hazards a contractor's workers meet on the job.
