OSHA Fall Protection Training 8/11/2011 Mason and Mason Insurance

Posted by Mark Paskell on Thu, Aug 04, 2011 @ 07:26 AM

Mason and Mason Insurance is our newest host for OSHA Fall Protection training. We will be holding our next training on 8/11/2011 at their location in Whitman, Mass.

Contractors who work 6 feet above lower levels are required to have a written fall protection plan in place on or before 9/15/2011. This new directive requires that contractors use fall arrest systems, safety nets and or guard rails to protect their workers while working 6 six feet above lower levels.

Over the past two months there have been numerous reports of increased OSHA inspection activity on residential job sites. Many contractors report they were unaware of this new requirement as OSHA has not usually focused on residential job sites. OSHA inspectors are asking for proof of fall protection and written E H and S Manuals.

To sign up for this training or others in time for the 9/15/2011 deadline click here.

Our trainer is Joe Ceccarelli of Safety Trainers Inc from Auburn, Mass.
